Ultra Tablet with Remix OS

In order for a start-up to stand out from the crowd, it has to bring something special to the table, and it would seem that Jide is trying to do this with their new Ultra tablet featuring the Remix OS.

The Remix OS is a skinned verion of Android bringing a look and feel very familiar to Windows users. It actually resembles Windows 8 and it's meant to ease the transition for users not very familiar with the Android OS. The Ultra Tablet from Jide features a NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor and 2GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage space plus and expansion slot, as well as a 11.6 inch display with Full HD resolution. Also worth mentioning is the WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.9 as well as the fact that this tablet ships with a keyboard, which can also act as a stand. Jide seems to be pulling all the stops in order to bring to the table a great tablet, and we'll just have to see how much success it will enjoy. The Ultra tablet is expected by the end of 2015 and it expected to come with a price tag of $349.
